Medical/Dental Workshop Overview
TITLE: Project MedSend

The purpose of Project MedSend is to enable health professionals who are called and trained to serve as missionaries, and who are already accepted by a mission agency, to begin their mission service unencumbered by education-related loan repayments. Once a physician, dentist, nurse, or other health professional whose grant request to MedSend has been approved begins their service, Project MedSend assumes the responsibility of making the monthly loan repayments to the bank. This loan repayment schedule will continue as long as the grantee remains in mission service, or until the debt is entirely paid off.

This program is supported by individual donors and churches interested in medical missions. MedSend encourages students preparing for mission service to contact MedSend by phone or e-mail to get information and to get advice about personal budget, credit card policies, borrowing methods, and financial wisdom.
